Album: Super-Hero by Joey.G

Born on 29/4/73 in London, Joey.G grew up in Nigeria, Came to England to study & did his A' levels in London. He then took a year out working in a bank and then enrolled in the University of Wales, Bangor to study Banking, Insurance and Finance. After he finished University, he started working for the church as a student worker. He then decided to enter into the music industry to make a CD as a one-off to raise money for missions, but God later told him to make it a business.

Joey.G still dedicates a considerable percentage of his earnings to Christian missions. Joey.G grew up listening to Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, Kurtis Blow, M.C.Hammer, L.L.Cool J, Shalamar, New Edition, Bobby Brown, Cameo to name a few. On becoming a Christian, he has been influenced by D.C.Talk, Grits, Cross-Movement, Priesthood, T-bone, Tunnel Rats, New Breed, GreenJade and more recently by the Clique 116 Crew

Joey.G started writing songs as a hobby following being inspired mainly by DC talk. He has just released his fourth E.P "Super-Hero" and has two albums under his belt called "Time for Revival" and "Breakthru - The Next Level" (Available on Cd-baby and other digital platforms) . 

Joey.G uses the gift of music to communicate the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in pubs, clubs, schools, assemblies, workshops, festivals, churches, fun-days, evangelistic outreaches, missions, T.V and radio. He has had the opportunity to perform in four different continents; namely - Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin-America. His previous album "Breakthru - The Next Level" has circled the globe and still doing so. Joey.G's now based in Abergele, North Wales, United Kingdom. He is married to his lovely wife, Sian and they have 2 children - Alaw and Caleb.
