Pedestrian Safety Enhancements Survey

 

Midtown Redevelopment Authority has partnered with the Midtown Management District Urban Planning Committee to implement a Pedestrian Safety Enhancements pilot project. The Brazos/ St. and Webster St. intersection and the Elgin St. and Jackson St. intersection were selected as the two initial pilot locations for installation of crosswalk and curb enhancements intended to improve visibility by shortening crossing distances and tightening corner radii. Please complete the survey by May 28th to help us plan for future pedestrian safety enhancements.

The office will remain open and function at its regular capacity. Please note that there are no visitors allowed in the office and all meetings or interactions will take place virtually, by phone or email. Contact the office at 713.526.7577 to make arrangements for items that need to be delivered or picked up and to schedule virtual meetings.

In accordance with the City of Houston, the playground at Midtown Park is now open for public use. Remember to continue to follow CDC guidelines, wear masks, and adhere to the appropriate social distancing guidelines.
