Facebook is Announcing a New Workplace experience
Facebook is excited to announce that Workplace
is getting a makeover! Well, we think it's much more than that.
We launched Workplace to make work better for everyone by building connected
communities. Over the last two years, we've connected thousands of work communities and millions of people with
this aim in mind. We've also learned a lot about how people use Workplace.
The things they love and the things they'd like to add to make work even
better, faster, and more delightful.
You've told how how much you love the familiarity that's inherent to
Workplace. When you introduce it to anyone in your organization, they know
how to use it, because it's
just like Facebook. At the same time, people come to Workplace to
do their work. They want to reliably get the information they need, get their
work done quickly without distractions and easily find and collaborate with
people.
Based on this learning, we've redesigned the Workplace web experience. The
new experience aligns more closely with how people want to use Workplace at
work while remaining intuitive and familiar. It makes it easier for people to
connect and collaborate. Customers who have tried this new experience tell us
every day how much they're enjoying it. We think you will too.
HOW WILL THE CHANGE
HAPPEN?
We believe this change will be extremely positive for people
getting work done on Workplace. We will begin to give access to this new
experience today and make it available to everyone over the coming weeks. You
will be prompted to try out the new design, but will still be able to switch
between the Classic view of Workplace if you prefer for the next few months.
WHERE CAN I LEARN
MORE?
Attend our upcoming webinar to
learn how the new Workplace experience can change the way your organization
works. You can also review our Help
Center Q&A or take a look at what's
changed. For further questions, ask the Workplace Help
Community.
We hope you'll share our excitement and enjoy using the product as much as we
do building it for all of us.
Thank you for your partnership!
