Aegle to Launch 5-Layer Protective Face Covering for Children Partnering with Leading Academic and Healthcare Groups

Aegle to Launch 5-Layer Protective Face Covering for Children Partnering with Leading Academic and Healthcare Organizations to Test and Develop Standard.

"Aegle is fully committed to protecting children by creating this five-layer face covering for smaller faces. We are partnering with these two cutting-edge institutions to move towards a standard." Andy Moy, CEO at Aegle

“We are pleased to be working with Aegle in this groundbreaking effort,” said Lex Schultheis, M.D., Ph.D., research professor with UMD’s Fischell Institute. “We will verify personalized fit for pediatric individuals according to the Occupational Safety Health Administration’s (OSHA) quantitative test guidelines. Because there are not yet industry standards for pediatric PPE, we are grateful for the opportunity to work in this area to help protect one of the populations most vulnerable to communicable diseases,” he added.

Aegle’s pediatric PPE will be tested and certified to filter out more than 95 percent of airborne particles. Aegle and its healthcare partners seek to create a national standard for masks that can offer parents peace of mind that their children have masks that fit well, are comfortable and meet established safety standards.

Aegle makes 100 percent of its products in Brookshire, Texas. The pediatric PPE will be made in Houston with the same materials and production processes as the company’s NIOSH approved masks. Aegle’s patent pending Authentication & Traceability technology prevents counterfeiting, provides complete transparency on testing performance and ensures supply-chain security. Every box has an embedded NFC (near field communication) chip providing parents with peace of mind.

Aegle plans to release details soon on when the mask will be finalized and ready for production. For more information on the company, visit www.aegleco.com.

EcoLoo is shaking up the Porta-potty Industry by supplying Luxury Restrooms at Porta-potty Rates

“We aim to provide an upscale experience at a fraction of the cost of other luxury restroom providers,” said PJ Blignault, Founder and Managing Director at EcoLoo.

EcoLoo started off as a portable toilet rental company in Dubai early in 2012. The company grew exponentially and opened its first international branch in Brisbane, Australia in early 2016. Since then, they have been able to move all production and fabrication of all toilets in-house. “The fact that we can manufacture our toilets in-house for our own use makes it possible for us to shift the savings that afford us onto the customer,” said PJ.

Since we opened the doors in Dallas, we have had nothing but positive feedback from our users. “Customers have told us that the toilets have been the center of conversation at the party it was rented for,” said Johnny Burritt, General Manager at EcoLoo Dallas.

Founded in 2012, EcoLoo is the worldwide leader in portable sanitation. The company offers top-quality mobile restrooms designed to bring quality and affordable sanitation to the world.

Albertus Project to Help Fund Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program in Texas for Those Who Cannot Afford the Cost

The Albertus Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is donating funds to support and Community Medical Services’ (CMS) substance use disorder treatment programs.

Medication-assisted treatment has been proven to save lives by decreasing opioid use, opioid-related overdose deaths, criminal activity, and infectious disease transmission. The Albertus Project is excited to partner with Community Medical Services in serving the Texas addiction community by providing equal access to evidence-based treatment.

About the Albertus Project

The Albertus Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Manassas, VA with a mission to redefine the world’s perspective on addiction, empower those suffering, educate the public, and destigmatize addiction. The Albertus Project offers harm reduction services, funding for many who cannot afford their medication-assisted treatment, and transportation to their doctors or clinics. The Albertus Project also has a podcast, Tapping into the Human, which offers powerful stories about people’s journey to recovery, and highlights the inspiring individuals and organizations that are leading the charge in decreasing the stigma surrounding mental health and addiction.

About Community Medical Services:

Community Medical Services began providing treatment in Phoenix, Arizona in 1983. We then expanded our footprint into Montana, North Dakota, and Alaska. In 2018, we acquired two existing opioid treatment programs, allowing us to expand into and serve communities in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Texas, and Wisconsin.

Today, CMS operates over 40 clinics across nine states. We are proud to have opened the nation’s first 24-hour Opioid Treatment on Demand (OTOD) center in Phoenix. We have since gone on to expand this model to Columbus, Ohio and West Allis, Wisconsin. At CMS, our focus is on meeting the challenges presented by the growing opioid epidemic in communities where treatment is lacking. Therefore, we have made it our mission to work with the communities we serve to provide education on the importance of effectively treating opioid use disorder. We strive to eliminate the consequences of substance use and to help our patients navigate the continuum of care without discrimination and stigma that they may face as a result of their opioid use disorder and use of medication-assisted treatment.

Nine-Year-Old Zoe Emetanjo Writes Children's Book; Set for Release on February 14

The book takes readers on a magical adventure with Zoe and her dog Zelda.

The audiobook was played for Zoe's third-grade class, and the other students enjoyed the book and gave great feedback, as did teachers and parents.

Zoe was born in Dallas and currently lives in Irving, Texas. She is bi-racial, as Zoe's father, Chidi Emetanjo, was born in Nigeria and her mom, Misty, is Caucasian. She is an only child and is Nigerian royalty – her middle name, Oluchi, means the work of God in the Igbo dialect.

At the pandemic's beginning, Zoe spent two years at school in England. She loves playing video games, especially Fortnite, and has been raised in the Christian faith. She already has nearly 20,000 followers on Instagram.

“Zoe and the Land of Storm Clouds” will be released on Books of Zoe, a book club owned by the young entrepreneur. Chidi has completely supported Zoe's efforts and helped her create the book and the book club. He is involved heavily in the technology industry. He is a Certified Agilist and currently a program manager for Deloitte in the systems engineering department. He has also sponsored Books of Zoe and her book through his company, Visaatech, which helps companies create and operate virtual spaces to extend their brand presence while maximizing engagement with their clients and employees and reinventing their business verticals.

In the future, Zoe plans on opening a book club charity that will donate used books and school supplies to unfortunate kids in Africa and worldwide.

To preorder “Zoe and the Land of Storm Clouds,” visit www.amazon.com/dp/B09QRRBJYH/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_a_EWM3V60QYZ10GRPHRBW0.
